LiSA

My Favourite Singer <(^-^)>

LiSA

Risa Oribe (Oribe Risa, born June 24, 1987), better known by her stage name LiSA (an acronym of Love is Same All), is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Seki, Gifu and is signed to Aniplex under Sony Music Artists. Initially a singer for an indie band, LiSA made her major debut in 2010 singing songs for the anime television series Angel Beats! as one of two vocalists for the fictional band Girls Dead Monster.

Girls Dead Monster - Little Braver

She performed at Animelo Summer Live in August 2010. In April 2011, she made her solo debut with the release of her mini-album Letters to U. LiSA's songs have been featured as theme music for various anime such as Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, and Day Break Illusion.

On November 12, 2011, LiSA made her first appearance in Singapore at Anime Festival Asia, Southeast Asia's largest anime and pop culture convention.

LiSA released her first solo single "Oath Sign" on November 23, 2011, which was used as the opening theme to the 2011 anime series Fate/Zero.

Oath Sign

LiSA released her second single, "Crossing Field", on August 8, 2012, which was used as the first opening theme to the 2012 anime series Sword Art Online.

Her third single "Best Day, Best Way" was released on April 3, 2013.

Best Day, Best Way

Her fourth single "Träumerei" was released on August 7, 2013, which is used as the opening theme to the 2013 anime series Day Break Illusion.

Träumerei

LiSA's fifth single "Rising Hope" was released on May 7, 2014, which is used as the opening theme to the 2014 anime series Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei.

Rising Hope
I like the fact that there is a english version of this song by Amanda Lee, I think it's an amazing feat.

The anime, Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei was also great! :)

About Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei
"Magic" is a product of neither legends nor fairy tales. It has become a technology of reality for nearly a century. Various countries in the world are locked in a race in nurturing "Magicians."

Shiba Tatsuya is an honors student without magic capability at First High School, a magic high school along with his sister who happens to the top student among the freshmen. What will happen to him, and how will he live his school life where he is one of the many reserves in the school looked down upon by the chosen magical students?

A friend of mine actually recommended LiSA to me. When I listened to her music, her voice captivated me. Her songs are always great, and she have many albums now. When I researched online about her, her songs are included on most of the popular anime.

A dedication to my friend Nash, who recommended LiSA to me. You did the right job. :)
Here is a song you really liked:

Ichiban no takaramono (Yui final ver.)
I once cry when I hear this song. It's so beautiful and the feels… Angel Beats is one of the first anime I watched and I am really happy with that. Angel Beats was a beautiful start for a new part of my life. I don't know how long… but I hope this part will never end. ANIME is life, it gave me friends, it taught me things, I learned to show my emotions… I love it.
It's funny when I told my friend I like  Ichiban no Takaramono (My Most Precious Treasure) and he asked me which version. When I told him I loved the song which is not by Yui (LiSA), he seems to be disappointed. Well I did it to see his reaction.

I really love her voice and her new song Shirushi (7th single) and is a very touching song. It's one of her best work which is the third ending song for the Sword Art Online II anime adaptation, used starting from SII Episode 18. It is her first ever ballad single.
Shirushi

If LiSA stand for Love is Same All, for me LiSA stand for Lovely International Sexy Apple. I don't understand why some people dislike LiSA, it's not like I hate them for that but I respect them for their decision. Well different people have different preference, what can I do about it. As for me, I never get bored listening to LiSA's song, I'm really looking forward seeing her in Singapore at Anime Festival Asia in the future.

That's all for today. Check her out, she's good. You won't regret it. ;)

Okonomiyaki Recipe <(^-^)>

Simple Recipe <(^-^)>

Okonomiyaki

I'm hungry right now and when I opened the fridge, I wanna eat something with cabbage in it. What should I make today? Let's cook some okonomiyaki. :)

What is Okonomiyaki?  It's a traditional Japanese food that is sometimes called "Japanese Pancake" or "Japanese Pizza".  It's a savory dish that is a bit more like an omelette or frittata than a pancake and it's made with okonomiyaki flour, eggs, cabbage, pork (bacon), shrimp or other seafood, and topped with a variety of condiments like sweet sauce (Okonomi Sauce), mayonnaise, dried seaweed and bonito flakes. Now... that may not sound very appetizing, but it's an INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS dish - crispy on the outside and soft inside. What could be better than Japanese food plus Bacon?  If you have a passion for food, you absolutely must try Okonomiyaki!

Okonomiyak is easy to make!  Our favorite "best" Osaka Okonomiyaki recipe (also called Kansai style Okonomiyai) is immediately below:

INGREDIENTS (To Make 2)
MetricImperial
Okonomiyaki Flour100g1 cup
Water (or Chicken stock)160ml 2/3 cup
Eggs (or Egg substitute)2 (or 120ml)2 (or 1/2 cup)
Cabbage, cut into 3cm x 2-3ml strips300g4 cups
Green Onions, thinly sliced diagonally2 stalks2 stalks
Tenkasu (Tempura bits)30g 1/4 cup
Bacon, cut into 8cm (3") pieces6 strips6 strips
OPTIONAL

Raw shrimp cut into approx 1cm (1/2") chunks 100g      1/2 cup
Bonus: Chinese sausage, cut diagonally1-2 links 1-2 links
Bonus: Beni Shoga (Pickled Ginger)30g1 oz
TOPPINGS

Kewpie Mayonnaise

Okonomi Sauce
Aonori (Seaweed Flakes)

Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes)

PREPARATION:
1.In a large bowl, whisk together Okonomiyaki Flour and Water until smooth
2.Add Eggs, Cabbage, Onions, Tenkasu, Ginger, Shrimp and Sausage and mix, but don't over mix.
3.Oil a griddle that has been heated to 200C (400F) and add Okonomiyaki mixture divided into two pancakes.
4.Using a spatula flatten and form pancakes until around 1.5cm (3/4") thick - approximately 30cm (12") across.
5.Add Bacon pieces to cover top of each pancake.
6.After about 3 minutes, flip over pancake (bacon side down) and cook for 4 minutes.
7.Flip pancake again (bacon side up) and cook for 3 minutes or until firm and well browned.
8. Remove to plate and drizzle with Kewpie mayonnaise, okonomi sauce and sprinkle with Aonori and Katsuobushi.
9.Eat quickly before someone near you takes your portion

Recipe Notes:
- If you do not have all of the ingredients above, don't worry, you can probably still make Okonomiyaki using a variety of substitute ingredients and by skipping some.  See Alternative Batter Receipes below and the Ingredients tab for more information.
- Also, don't worry about exact measurements, the recipe is very forgiving!
- Also, remember, Okonomi stands for "what you wish" so you are really open to modifying any of the added ingredients.  It's common to add a variety of vegetables, or to substitute or supplement the shrimp with cuttlefish, octopus, squid and other seafood.
- Chinese sausage is completely non-traditional, but we think it really adds a great flavor and texture.

Using Traditional Nagaimo or Yamaimo
- For the Grated Yam, you must use Chinese or Japanese mountain yam (Nagaimo or Yamaimo) and use at least 1/4 Cup (60ml).
- The recipe using Nagaimo is the most authentic Okonomi-Yaki receipe, but it's faster and easier to use the packaged Okonomiyaki flours, which also usually have added flavors.

When grated, the mountain yam becomes a glutinous liquid that helps bind the batter.

The Healthier Okonomiyaki has the following differences:
- Egg Substitute instead of Whole Egg
- No Chinese Sausage
- Lower fat Center Cut bacon instead of Regular Bacon
- Less Cooking Oil for griddling
- 1 Tbsp of Mayonnaise instead of 2 Tbsp

Enjoy!

My Gaming Days

Dota 2

During the Holiday I played Dota most of the time. Well I'm not a good player in Dota but I'm quite decent in it. I usually play as a carry since I suck at playing support. I tried to avoid the ranked match in Dota since it is more intense and too competitive. One silly mistake and the whole team blame you for the lose. So currently this two are some of my favourite characters in Dota 2 which are Sniper and Phantom Assassin. Well I have many more favourite heroes but I will talk about them in the future, if I got a chance.

Sniper
When I play as Sniper, I usually play hard carry with his long range and a finisher ultimate which gives him an incredible potential as a carry early to late game, killing enemy behind my teammates. The first skill is strong after the new update with lower mana cost and can be use in charge basis. Now, I always max it by level 7 as it can easily kill off creeps waves around the area of effect and those heroes didn't die will be slowed down greatly for a couple seconds enough for me to get the kill. The second skill is especially useful when I'm going for a kill. The second skill is a 40% proc chance ability which slow them 100% which makes the opponent character froze for a second just enough for me to kill the opponent off. His third skill is very useful even though it's another passive skill. This skill increases his attack range, out ranging the tower on level 3. His ultimate is kinda bad-ass because you can kill enemy off from far distances. Deal a huge amount of damage to my target. I use it on heroes that do not have health regen or that are out of my attack range. This spell also reveal the target during the casting time. However, sniper is very squishy and lacks escape utility along with movement speed, which makes him an attractive and easy target. Due to this fact sniper often becomes food for enemy heroes.

My personal build is focusing on outfarming and outlasting your opponents by getting lethal relatively early in the game. This is achieved by acquiring Shadow Blade very early before anyone else has any useful items. By getting Shadow Blade first I will have a perfect chance to gank and stay alive throughout the early phase of the game and outfarm my enemies by actually killing them, not just farming creeps all the time like most people do. This build has been tested dozens of times in DotA and Dota 2 and it works perfectly if executed correctly.

Phantom Assassin
Right now the biggest reason to pick Phantom Assassin is to show off their Arcana or to fulfill a contract, which I can't blame anyone for doing. When I play as Phantom Assassin, I usually play hard carry as her ultimate gives her an incredible burst damages as a carry early to late game, killing enemies with one strike. The first skill is strong with lower mana cost and I used it to last hit creeps if I'm getting harassed. I always max it by level 7 as it can easily kill off creeps as well as it further lower the mana cost per each level up of the skill. Enemy hero hit are slowed down greatly for a couple seconds enough for me to blink and get the kill with nice proc of her ultimate. The second skill is especially useful when I'm going for a kill or escape. The second skill is a blink ability which teleports to a unit, friendly or enemy, and grants bonus attack speed while attacking if it's an enemy unit, the attack speed buff is just enough for me to proc the ultimate to kill the opponent off. Her third skill is very useful even though it's passive skill. Blur is the highest evasion in the game (considering only hits because Backtrack works on all damage sources) what makes you survivable skill-wise. Its also your form of concealment in terms of hiding from the enemy minimap awareness. Her ultimate is bad-ass because Coup de Grace is the highest critical in the game. It also upgrades the potential of Stifling Dagger as your dagger can crit as well. However, she is very squishy, which makes her an attractive and easy target.

My typical build is focusing on rushing Battle fury after getting the boot early in the game. The reason why I pick this item is because of the crazy farm I will get killing neutral and ancient stacks from Helm of the dominator, and the stats I gets are also amazing, it will keep me alive and full of mana with the hp and mana regen, and if I'm lucky enough to meet 5 enemy heroes all together and stunned, jump inside, and kill them all at once with my epic critical damage and my cleave damage, and get a rampage! YES! IT'S TIME FOR A GODLIKE KILLING STREAK!

Fact: Phantom assassin is famous for teleporting and lightspeed killing you of one crit, not even a pudge with 6 hearts of tarrasque would of survive.

Core Items
Battle Fury - Gives you good damage and a cleave attack to help you farm and deal damage to all heroes in team fights which is crucial for her, the damage help with her ultimate to crit for a lot of damage while cleaving, crit estimate is around 550

Power Treads - Has great survivability if on strength as well as some attack speed which she need greatly because how slow she attacks and if you want you can switch it to agility for some extra damage

Skull Basher - Give a chance to stun your enemy to keep them in place while you kill them, it also gives good damage which helps with your ultimate even more after a battle fury which can help you crit for around 875 and can later be built into a abyssal blade

Helm of the Dominator - Great life steal which allows you to take down Roshan alone and allows you to heal yourself in team fights and allows you to kick anyone's ***

Big Hero 6

My Favourite Movies <(^-^)>

Big Hero 6

"Big Hero 6" is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius-thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion-a robot named Baymax-and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

I actually watched this movie last year on December 17, 2014 just right after our last common test paper. We first ate at eighteen chefs before the movie and the experiences was awesome. Not only was the movie good, I also got a chance to eat my favourite pasta with double cheese with chilli cheese fries. It all about the cheese. :)

When the movie started, there was a movie about a dog and we wonder whether we went to the wrong location. Confirmed about being in the right location we continued watching the show. It seems that the movie was Feast, the story of one man's love life is seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.

Going back to the movie, Big Hero 6
Iron Man is not in this movie. We should get that out of the way right up front. But if you liked Iron Man like my friend, and the idea that someone can create wondrous and deadly things with technology appeals to you, then you might like Big Hero 6. This is a story about robots big and small, but it’s also one about friendship, loss, and trying to fix things that cannot always be mended. It manages to deliver in most of those areas with humor and without being preachy. And yes, there’s a big, rubbery robot that can fly.

It started as
People in San Fransokyo fight robots for money, and the main character, Hiro Hamada, has built one so good it makes short work of its opponents, ripping them limb from limb. But his older brother Tadashi wants Hiro to leave behind the seedy alleys of the city to come join him at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. Part of his pitch involves showing him Baymax, a large, white inflatable robot that Tadashi invented to serve as a portable doctor. Realizing he could be building similar projects, Hiro decides he wants in.

But for Hiro, it’s not as simple as writing an essay about his summer vacation to get into this college. The university requires him to come up with something to wow the program’s professor. Hiro’s answer are tiny robots that can be controlled by thought. Hiro believes that the microbots could be useful for things like transportation and construction, and his demonstration of those possibilities is one of the film’s most memorable scenes. That demo sets off a bidding war between people who want to develop the technology commercially, and those who want it for science.

Later the movie escalates from there, introducing a masked man named Yokai, our antagonist and genuinely one of the scariest villains to grace a Disney film in years. Donned in black and wearing a white kabuki mask, Yokai's stolen Hiro's microbots, and produces a seemingly never-ending sea of them that he wields (often poorly) as weapons. With the help of Baymax, and several students, Hiro forms a rag-tag group to face Yokai, each of them using technology they’ve cooked up in the university’s labs to give themselves unique powers.

Big Hero 6 is ultimately enjoyable but it can be frustrating. If you’re expecting city-destroying robot fights the likes of Transformers, you won’t find them here. And likewise if you’re looking for some real chemistry and believable friendships between a group of unlikely heroes, that’s not quite here either. Where Big Hero 6 succeeds, and succeeds big, is in the friendship between Hiro and Baymax. They’re an odd couple and their relationship explores the need for companionship. That Disney manages to pull that off with an inflatable talking robot is better than any special effects you’ll see on screen.

I guess the only thing I hated about this movie is that ... dies for nothing. :p

Craving for some Sushi

I'm craving for some sushi right now

Aww, it's seems that I'm having a craving for some sushi again. It seems like every time I have good sushi, I just want it more and more. If I talk about sushi, I will want sushi. The more often I get it, the more often I want it. It's a healthy problem to have. Although it puts a dent in my pocket, I've found other things to cut back on, to make room in the budget for it.

My mother just bought some sushi for me yesterday, but I really enjoy eating lots of small portions of different foods, rather than one large portion of something, and I think that’s the key to why sushi is so addicting for me. I get to savor lots of delicious small bites full of different flavors, textures, and spices that all come together in one big tasty explosion. Plus, I think it fills an essential need to try new things, and put myself out there to try something amazing. Eating sushi is more than just having a meal, it’s a dining experience. And how fun is it that as an adult, you can order something crazy Roll and love it.

I guess the only thing I don’t like about sushi is how much it can cost.

Juicy Lucy Burgers Recipe

 Simple Recipe

Juicy Lucy Burger (a.k.a. Jucy Lucy)

Juicy Lucy
First off, if you've been living under a rock and/or outside of Minneapolis, a Jucy Lucy is essential an inside-out cheeseburger. To be honest, I believe that the appeal lies more in the ability to surprise unsuspecting eaters-by with a liquid hot cheese burn rather than with any real culinary appeal. But, seeing as I like pretty much anything with a liquid center, I was game to work this one out.

The first time I heard about Juicy Lucy was when I watched one of the episode Man VS Food. Two bars in Minneapolis, Matt’s and the 5-8 Club, have competing claims to being the creator of the infamous Juicy Lucy burger (or Jucy Lucy, depending on whom you’re talking to). However I thinks that those doesn't really matter as long as they served it the right way. Whichever version you prefer, these cheese-stuffed burgers ooze cheesy goodness with every bite—and now you can make your own at home, just like me. Be sure to aim any cheese drips over your French Fries.

What to buy: Fat equals flavor and moisture, so buy high-quality chuck with a fat content of 15 to 20 percent.

While American cheese is standard in a Juicy Lucy, other cheeses that melt well, such as mild cheddar or pepper jack, can be substituted.

Soft hamburger buns (skip brioche or crusty buns) work best with the simple flavors of these burgers.

Game plan: Make sure the burger patties rest after cooking so that the juices redistribute in the meat and the cheese isn’t dangerously hot when you bite into the center.

If you’re grilling outside, toast the buns right on the grill while the cooked patties are resting. If you’re grilling inside using a grill pan, toast your buns in the oven, because the moisture left in the pan from cooking the burgers will make the buns soggy.

I saw many recipes online but I think this recipe suit my taste better.

Instructions

Cut each slice of cheese in half, then in half again to form 4 squares. Stack the pieces on top of each other to form 4 stacks; set aside.

Place the meat in a large bowl and add the salt, garlic powder, Worcestershire, and pepper. Mix with your hands until just evenly combined.

Divide the meat into 8 equal portions and place on a work surface. Using your fingertips, press 2 portions of the meat into 2 rough 1/4-inch-thick patties that are each about 1 inch wider in diameter than the hamburger buns.

Place 1 stack of cheese in the center of 1 of the patties. Top with the second patty and pinch the edges to form a tight seal.

Cup each patty with your hands to round out the edges, and press on the top to flatten slightly into a single thick patty.

Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining portions of meat and cheese to form 4 patties in total. Refrigerate while you prepare the grill.

Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium high (about 375°F to 425°F). When the grill is ready, use tongs to rub the grate with several layers of paper towels dipped in vegetable oil.

Place the reserved patties on the grill, close the grill, and cook undisturbed (do not press down on the patties) until dark grill marks appear on the bottom, about 3 to 4 minutes. Using a spatula, flip the patties, close the grill again, and cook until grill marks appear on the second side and the patties are cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes more. Remove to a clean plate and let rest in a warm place or tent loosely with foil for 5 minutes. Place a patty on each bun bottom, top with pickles, and cover with a bun top. Serve immediately.

Review
I've been making Juicy Lucies, and experimenting, for the last three years. I always make one stuffed with Cheddar / American cheese for myself.

However, I must differ on the size of the patty. I make two patties, each weighing 3 ounces, for a 6-ounce burger. That way I can cook it for 3 minutes a side on medium high (in a cast iron skillet) and still get a medium rare burger with melted cheese inside.

I've experimented stuffing other ingredients in the burger (bacon, roasted peppers, and even tried thousand island sauce once), but using nothing but cheese is the way to go. (yeah, it's THAT good!).

Juicy Steakhouse Burgers Recipe

Simple Recipe <(^-^)>

Juicy Steakhouse Burgers

I’m very picky when it comes to my burgers. If they’re not tender, juicy and flavorful, they’re just not worth it. Problem is, it’s difficult to replicate steakhouse burgers at home because most steakhouses use closely-guarded recipes and custom ground beef mixes, both of which are hard to find. After many trials, I discovered the solution to making great steakhouse burgers at home is to use readily available 85% lean ground beef, a panade — which is a mixture of bread and milk that keeps meat tender and juicy even when cooked to medium-well — and lots of seasoning.

Begin by making the panade and flavoring. Simply mash the bread and milk together with a fork until it forms a chunky paste, then stir in the garlic, salt, pepper, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Next, add the ground beef and scallions and break the meat up with your hands. Gently mix everything together until just combined. Try not to overmix or your burgers may be tough.

Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape into loose balls. Gently flatten each ball into a 3/4-inch-thick patty that’s about 4-1/2 inches around. (Keeping the burgers thick ensures a nice char on the outside without overcooking the inside.) To prevent the burgers from forming a domed shape on the grill, create a slight depression in the center of each patty.

Grill the burgers 2-4 minutes on the first side until nicely browned. Flip and cook on the second side a few minutes more, until desired doneness is reached.

Enjoy!

Juicy Steakhouse Burgers

Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces white sandwich bread, crusts removed and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup low fat milk
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 pounds 85% lean ground beef
  • 3 scallions, finely sliced (optional)
  • Non-flammable cooking spray to grease grill
  • 10 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bread and milk together with a fork until it forms a chunky paste. Add the salt, pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup and mix well.
  3. Add the ground beef and scallions and break the meat up with your hands. Gently mix everything together until just combined. Do not overmix. Divide the mixture into ten equal portions and form loose balls. Gently flatten the balls into 3/4-inch patties about 4-1/2 inches around. Form a slight depression in the center of each patty to prevent the burgers from puffing up on the grill.
  4. Grease the grill with non-flammable cooking spray. Grill the burgers, covered, until nicely browned on the first side, 2-4 minutes. Flip burgers and continue cooking for a few minutes more until desired doneness is reached. Before serving, toast the buns on the cooler side of the grill if desired.

I am very happy to write a review about this burger recipe. The burgers are very good and tasty. You can choose from a big variety of sides and condiments that you can add to fit almost all your needs. There is an option to further upgrade the burger to a king burger by adding additional burger patty or simply making the burger patty bigger. You can also offer yourself a small variety of salads to make it healthier. The value for money ratio is very good since it's homemade to eat a big good burger. If you imagine that you need $7-10 to eat in Mcdonald for such a small patties burger, I assume that making your own burger is extremely cheaper for what you can eat. I recommend everyone to try this recipe!!

Akame ga Kill!

My Favourite Anime <(^-^)>

Akame ga Kill!

In a fantasy world, fighter Tatsumi sets out for the Capitol to earn money for his starving village, and finds a world of unimaginable corruption, all spreading from the depraved Prime Minister who controls the child Emperor's ear. After nearly becoming a victim of this corruption himself, Tatsumi is recruited by Night Raid, a group of assassins dedicated to eliminating the corruption plaguing the Capitol by mercilessly killing those responsible.

The story follows a group of assassins called Night Raid in their quest to take down a corrupt government. The themes of Akame ga Kill can change very quickly in a blink of an eye which makes it quite unique to other series out there. One moment you will be laughing at some ridiculous shenanigans, the next you will witness a bloody murder of a random character, or maybe even your favourite character. The way the themes are blended together is done so well I cant really compare it to anything else.

In Akame Ga Kill, there are weapons known as "Imperial Arms" that are age old tools that were created to help balance the world. They're extremely powerful weapons of destruction that are present throughout the anime, and all Night Raid members have one in their possession, as well as the Jaegers, introduced later as the main force that will oppose Night Raid in the story until the brutal end. But as lavish as this all sounds, it falls short of anything really spectacular or even above average. The story/plot is just good enough to propel the whole anime forward, but it has problems throughout, such as it going for too much shock value, and trying to force watchers to feel emotions that just aren't there. But in all, the plot was pretty decent.

Art: If there's one thing Akame Ga Controversy does right, it's the art. Not even manga readers should be able to talk smack about it. It's vibrant, colorful, and remarkably fluid, including the animation. It's an eye orgy the whole time, and its probably the best thing about Akame Ga Kill.

Character: The characters, a lot like the art style, were unique and likable. This connection of liking, or even loving for some, is essential to how the anime toys with your feelings and emotions, as it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that characters will die, and a lot will suffer before hand. However, for more than a few of the characters, I thought they didn't get nearly as much development as they should have, and it made their deaths much less impactful than they should have been. Other times, the death flags were so obvious that you just start crying even before they die. An extra 2 episodes to make 26 for character devlopement would have gone a long way

Enjoyment: I'm a pretty nit picky person, but surprisingly, there wasn't much to nit pick at in this anime. Everything just clicks and works fine from start to finish. Although I will say this is probably the simplest anime of the year and offered no depth whatsoever, but at the same time, that's not what Akame Ga Kill aimed to be. This isn't Serial Experiments Lain. This is your standard over-the-top Action anime, up there with Seven Deadly Sins and Bleach. And Akame Ga Kill excels perfectly in this area, and I didn't struggle at all with watching any of it.

The animation looks gorgeous and the soundtrack makes everything feel more alive than when you read it in the manga. The voice actors are amazing and do every character justice. The amount of production quality put into this is astonishing, but if any series deserves it, it's Akame ga Kill.

If you're a manga reader of the series don't worry this is a great adaptation of this wonderful series with some changes near the end. And if you're a newcomer then I hope you will give Akame ga Kill a chance if you want to enjoy a fun, dark story with interesting characters and really solid plot.

I think that the ending was very good and brought a proper conclusion for the anime. I thought the ending fight was fast paced and over-the-top like Akame ga Kill is known for. A lot of what happened in the anime which was new to, and not in the manga I believe will end up happening in some way, as some of the new content seemed to well-placed for it not to happen in the manga at some point.

Overall, Akame Ga Kill is a fun ride if you're willing to excuse some bumps along the track. It's not a master piece by any means, but if you look at it at just the right angle, you might find something others did not.
